Smith Brackets
The simth brackets (also known as Towing Brackets or Smit Brackets) are welded on the aftdeck, connected with end link or pear shape link of chafe chain for towing purposes.
We select finest quality material to manufacture towing brackets which can work to 500T SWL max. and suit to chain dia. up to 132mm.
We have developed towing brackets for -40℃ & -60 ℃ working working temperature, manufacture by using high strength low alloy structural steel.
Our all welding works are done by ABS qualified welders and all welding procedure is in accordance to DNV&ABS approved WPS. 
All weld joints are inspected by level III NDT engineer
Our towing brackets can be supplied with class cert such as ABS, BV, DNV, LR, CCS,RMRS,RINA.
Underdeck stiffening is on request.
